Harihara: Celebrating religious festivals all in an educational institutions
together can create a peaceful harmony, cooperation and coexistence of the
students with the power of tranquility. It is a eulogisticinspiration to realize
each other and to live with a virtue of tolerance.
In this regard, Diwali the festival of light was celebrated as a symbol of
religious harmony at St. Aloysius PU college here at Harihar by lighting the
diyas.
Dr. Harishankar Jois, a renowned astrophysicist and local priest of the
Harihara, who was the chief guest of the program, spoke on Religious harmony
and peace, and stressed on the importance of celebrating feasts by inculcating
the values of candle that gives light by burning itself. The Superior of the
institution Rev. Fr. Eric Mathias SJ. Principal of the college, Mr. Baptist
Sunny Gudinho, Finance officer Rev. Fr. Praveen Kiran Martis S J, Vice-
Principals,Mrs. Pushpalatha Urs and Mr. Mousin Ulla were present on the stage.
