Teachers day celebration on 6 th September 2023 at St. Aloysious PU College Harihar
We celebrated Teachers' Day on September 6th in the college quadrangle from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. All the arrangements were made by the students themselves with the assistance of the coordinator and student council members.
The event began with a warm welcome for the teachers, where they were presented with flowers accompanied by music. Following this, an inter-religious prayer was conducted by the students, and a welcoming address was delivered to the gathering.
Two students then shared the significance of the day, followed by a presidential speech delivered by Fr. Eric Mathias SJ, the director of the college. Following the speech, a girls' dance performance took place.
Opinion sharing sessions were conducted by two students, providing a platform for student voices. Subsequently, a boys' dance performance added to the festivities.
Games were organized for the staff, and after the games, prizes were distributed to the winners among the staff members.
The program concluded with some entertainment for the students, marking the end of a memorable Teachers' Day celebration..
