Report on Teacher’s Day Programme
The Teacher’s Day programme at St Aloysius PU College, Harihar was celebrated on 4 th
September 2021 in the quadrangle at 11:30 am. The programme began with the Emcee Ms.
Jahnavi who welcomed the gathering along with presentingroses and cards to the
management & the staff. The programme was followed by an Inter-religious prayer where
Santholin and his team invoked the god’s blessings and created a prayerful environment.
Ms Asma of II commerce welcomed us all formally for the programme followed by Ms
Salomi who mesmerized us with her beautiful welcome dance.
The Importance of Teacher’s Day and a talk on Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan was rendered
by Ms Sonal of II PU Science.
A melodious song was sung by Ms Khushi to give a tribute to all the teachers.
The cake cutting ceremony was done by the students to the management and staff to energise
everyone at the moment.
Our Superior Fr Eric Mathias SJ inspired us all with his presidential speech along with
expressing his thoughts on the Teacher’s Day programme.
There were many entertaining programmes by the students which awestruck the entire
gathering.
There were also recreational programmes like Musical chair & treasure hunt for the staff
members,
Our Principal Mr. Baptist Sunny Gudinho and the Finance officer Fr. Praveen Martis SJ
spoke about the Importance of the Teachers and their role in forming one’s life.
A word of thanks was rendered by Ms Ayesha of II commerce
The programme ended on a positive and happy note, followed by the refreshments.
