Enhancing Moments : St. Aloysius PU College, Harihar Embraces the Spirit of Christmas
In the heart of the holiday season, St. Aloysius PU College Harihar immersed itself in the joyous celebration of Christmas, bringing together the teaching and non-teaching staff for a memorable evening.
The festivities unfolded at the Stan Swamy Auditorium on December 23, 2023, starting at 6:30 pm. The atmosphere was brimming with joy and anticipation as everyone gathered, graced by the presence of esteemed figures like Rev. Fr. Eric Mathias SJ, ( Director and Superior)Rev. Fr. Vinod AJ SJ (Director of Gents Hostel and faculty), and Rev. Fr. Avinash Lobo SJ (Finance Officer and faculty).
The occasion was set aglow as the staff prepared to exchange gifts with their secret Christmas friends. Guiding the proceedings was the capable coordinator, Mr. Santhosh Kumar , who welcomed all present. The air resonated with melodious carol singing by the staff, and the exchange of Christmas gifts ensued, accompanied by infectious excitement and laughter.
The non-teaching staff was treated to an entertaining program, adding a delightful touch to the celebrations. Adding a tech-savvy flair to the event, Mr. Nadeem and Miss. Jyothi Gupta presented a wonderful video.
The spirit of generosity and goodwill shone through as Rev. Fr. Eric Mathias SJ, along with Rev. Fr. Avinash Lobo SJ and Rev. Fr. Vinod AJ SJ, distributed Christmas cakes and gifts to all staff members. The festivities extended beyond the college community, reaching the children of Miss. Shameem Banu, a faculty member, and Mr. Hanumanthappa, the college bus driver, and his family.
As the night unfolded with joyous exchanges and heartwarming moments, the program concluded on a high note with a shared supper, marking the end of a truly enchanting Christmas celebration at St. Aloysius PU College Harihar.
