The Youvajyothy camp, held on November 25, 2023, at St. Aloysius PU College Harihar, was a significant event that brought students and faculty together for an enriching experience.
The program commenced with a captivating prayer led by the student Lakshmi from 1st PUC, who extended a warm welcome to all attendees. The lighting of the lamp ceremony was conducted by all the dignitaries. Mrs. Pushpalatha Urs, the principal, delivered the presidential address, and distinguished participants included Fr. Avinash Lobo SJ, the finance officer and coordinator, Fr. Vinod AJ SJ from the science department, Principal Mrs. Pushpalatha Urs, Vice Principal Mr. Mouseen Ulla, and Mr. Pascal Fernandes. The chief guest and the guest were honored during the felicitation ceremony by Rev. Fr. Eric Mathias SJ, the director, the principal Mrs. Pushpalatha Urs, and vice-principals.
Notably, the chief guest, Block Education Officer Sri. Hanumantha, acknowledged the efforts of Rev. Fr. Eric Mathias SJ, the college director, emphasizing the importance of education and providing valuable insights on tackling the SSLC exam. Guest,Sri. Krishnappa, the block resource chief officer, shared practical tips on exam strategies and problem-solving.
The camp, attended by 267 students from various schools, featured specialized sessions led by Prof. Rajashekar for Maths, Prof. Sridhar Mayya for science, and Prof. [English and Social Subjects]. The management generously provided lunch for all attendees.
